Don’t miss a cable-car ride up to the Pic du Midi, where you can spend the night stargazing and visiting the Pic du Midi museum. Or explore the Campan valley, with its historic sites such as the Château de Mauvezin and the Abbey de l’Escaladieu, and the spa towns of Capvern-les-Bains and Bagnères-de-Bigorre. The Domaine du Tourmalet, between 1,760 m and 2,500 m altitude, offers 100 km of runs (70 km marked) with 23 green, 20 blue, 22 red and 5 black runs, plus a floodlit run for night skiing. The ski area is served by 14 chairlifts, 1 cable car, 11 drag lifts and 3 magic carpets. Thanks to 244 snow guns, snow coverage is guaranteed. Take the cable car up to the Pic du Midi and discover off-piste itineraries. The ESF offers lessons from age 3, torchlit descents and off-piste “rides”.
